Maddie’s Mended Heart Foundation was founded in 2021 after our daughter Madison was born.  We were unaware of her multiple heart defects until after birth when the hospital pediatrician detected a murmur. Once we were told of Madison’s condition we were transferred and Madison underwent her surgeries and care at Medical City Childrens in Dallas. After meeting so many wonderful families and being blessed by the wonderful staff at Medical City Children’s we wanted to be able to give back.
